This is an international project spanning a wide network of researches in various fields relevant to the project goals.
This project is supported by the Ian Ramsey Center for Science and Religion at the University of Oxford through New Horizons for Science and Religion in Central and Eastern Europe initiative, and funded by the John Templeton Foundation. Our project aims to bring together scholars from theology, philosophy, Classical studies, social history, history of science, and history of religion. Its main goals are to challenge our narrow contemporary framework for thinking about science, faith, and superstition and to make historically informed perspectives more visible in these debates. The Faculty of Philosophy will coordinate and realize the project. Many scholars who work at the University of Belgrade have the expertise and desire to further the project’s goals and have expressed a passion to mainstream their scholarly work. |
