Science, Faith, and Superstition - BPA ISSUE 37(2), 2024
We’re pleased to announce the release of a new special issue of Belgrade Philosophical Annual, titled Science, Faith, and Superstition. This issue brings together a range of philosophical perspectives on how science, faith, and superstition were understood and interrelated in late Antiquity and the early modern period (1500–1700). The contributions aim to challenge the common narrative that treats religion as either marginal to scientific thought or simply equivalent to superstition, offering instead a richer and more historically grounded view of how natural inquiry and religious belief have shaped one another.
Science, Faith and Superstition issue is now available online and can be accessed at the following link:

This special issue is part of our international research project Science, Faith, and Superstition, supported by the Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion and the Templeton Foundation.
